If you’re looking for a reusable, durable alternative to ziploc bags, here you go!

I’m always touting the wet bags (aka, bags with a waterproof liner) from Logan + Lenora to family and friends, on this blog, and on Instagram. They are versatile, well-made and honestly, I like the look and feel of them better than any other reusable snack bags I’ve tried. I bought my first bag from them on a whim. I was new to cloth diapering and looking for another bag to use on the go for dirty diapers and clothing, and their fun but sophisticated prints and heavy cotton stood out from the crowd. I’ve been so happy with how they’ve held up after many many washes. Other reusable bags I’ve tried haven’t fared as well and I’ve experienced leaks and cracked linings. These bags are pricier than some you may see online but you definitely get what you pay for.

While I have other bags from L+L (we’re basically besties so yeah, I have a pet name for them) to use for cloth diapering and general baby-stuff wrangling, I use the Petit Pouches and Diaper Clutch every day. Don’t let the name “Diaper Clutch” fool you. While it’s certainly the perfect little bag to have on hand for babies, it’s genius shape and design make it versatile for anyone to have on hand. Two pockets – one is waterproof, one is cotton-lined – make it easy to organize items.

Glass jars are also a on-the-go zero waste favorite, but these bags are lighter and easier to stuff in my bag as I’m heading out. Perfect for when I’m not quite sure what situation I’m heading into but still want to be prepared to dodge single-use items.

“We use thick 7 oz cotton canvas exterior fabric. Waterproof lining is toxin-free, CPSIA certified child and food safe, made without BPA plasticizers, lead or phthalates. Lining is heat-bonded without any chemicals or solvents. High quality, water resistant nylon zippers are top stitched for effortless opening.”

The uses for these bags are pretty much endless but here’s what I use them for most often:

• Snacks – mine have carried anything and everything from nuts, dried fruit, cut-up apple and oranges, crackers, sandwiches
• Compost – yup, I tend to bring any compostable items back to my house unless I specifically see a compost bin when I’m out
• Storing leftovers from restaurants – I don’t like wasting food so half-eaten items left in my daughter’s wake get popped into the bag to bring home or eat later
• Separating and organizing smaller items within a larger bag – diaper cream and wipe spray in the diaper bag, lotion/chapstick in my purse
• My zero waste “kit” for on the go or travel – cloth napkin, reusable straw, reusable utensils, etc.
