I’m Meredith and am a total goofball just trying to mend my stressed out ways by taking a simpler path. I am working hard to achieve my dreams, and I am working hard to appreciate what I have. I am trying to live a healthy, mindful life with fewer things and less anxiety.
Living an environmentally conscious life has always been important to me and I started this blog to share musings on my lifestyle and document changes I was making to “go green” in every aspect of my life, from organic skincare and non-toxic makeup to eco-friendly baby and pregnancy essentials.
I recently turned the big 3-0 and live in Burlington, Vermont. I’ve lived coast-to-coast and love exploring new places. I am married to an amazing guy (we’ve been together 10+ years!), have an adorable dog named after a Beatles song and in 2014 we welcomed a sweet baby girl to our family. I am currently pregnant and baby girl #2 is heading this way in early 2017!
In the past few years I’ve started exploring “life editing,” minimalism and the “buy me once” philosophy of careful consumption. I started Project 333’s capsule wardrobe experiment in January 2016. My husband and I live in a small-ish 2 bedroom, 950 sqft. home.

I love food and cooking and have been in the food world for several years as a public relations professional.
I’ve been following a paleo-ish diet ever since completing my first Whole30 in 2012. I’ve since completed several more rounds. I try to focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods, lots of vegetables, humane-raised (local if possible) meat, poultry and seafood, some fruit, fats like olive oil and nuts, coconut oil and grassfed butter. And oh so many eggs! I have been completely soy free since 2007 and gluten free since October 2012.
I try to limit my dairy, sugar and alcohol consumption but I do like to indulge! I pretty much can’t turn down delicious cheddar cheese, sugary treats (especially jelly beans – they are my delicious, sugary downfall) and I love trying new hard ciders and unique cocktails.
