Prime Day 2017 – Eco-friendly finds

Hi friends! You know I’m not into pushing you to purchase new items, but if these things have been on your wish list for a while, now might be the time to consider a purchase. These are some of my favorite items that I use in my own home and life. I’ll update this post as I discover other deals!

Kiddobloom stainless steel eco friendly flatware/silverware/utensils for baby, toddler, & kids - REVIEW on MeredithTested.com

Kiddobloom stainless steel utensils (read my review) – Toddler and Baby sizes are both 60% off! These make a great gift. We use them at home and keep a set in the diaper bag for on the go. They are the only plastic-free utensils I recommend.

Ooh, Stasher Bag has a few things on discount – run don’t walk! These silicone bags aren’t considered “plastic free” by many but they are the only totally waterproof bags I’ve used that I love. They’re durable, easy to clean and perfect for snacks on the go, freezing fruit for smoothies, etc.

JORD Wooden watches are all on various levels of sale. Check out my review here. It’s the only watch I currently own – it goes with everything and is lightweight and comfortable.

It’s no secret that the Instant Pot has been a game changer for me – like so many others! It’s a minimalist kitchen dream and let’s me feel like a magician making healthy homemade food for my family in no time. From chili and hard boiled eggs to yogurt and other goodies, it can do it all, usually in 30 minutes, haha. The 8 quart version is deeply discounted (and will likely sell out) so check it out now.

Now’s a good time to snatch up this Waterpik and say goodbye to floss forever. Yes this model is made with plastic but it is durable and will replace countless packages of floss. This isn’t something I own…yet. But I’ve had my eye on it for a long time.

I buy a lot of clothing for myself and my family secondhand but underwear is not one of those things. PACT Organic is a brand we use and like – PACT has a bunch of stuff on discount for prime day.

YAS! Here’s a zero waste gift a lot of people would appreciate from kids to adults – a “garden in a jar.” Back to the Roots is a company I’ve known about for years and I’ve used their mushroom growing and other kits. These are in a glass jar with a metal lid. Perfect for the kitchen windowsill.
